Veselka (“rainbow” in Ukrainian) is a dog from Ukraine who was rescued by German volunteers and with whom a veterinarian from the USA fell in love. It was his post with an appeal on Instagram to help this very special dog that caught our attention. We took Veselka to Prague and fostered her.

At first, Veselka was afraid of everything. She had never been inside and had no home except the street. She only knew how to survive a stray life. But we immediately could tell she has an incredibly big and loving heart. With us she got her first bath, first toy, first bed, and a lot of love and patience. And very quickly Ves turned into the best dog in the world! Anyone who meets her falls in love and can't help but become her friend. Wherever she goes, she is the center of attention.
